The attention to detail, the embroidery on the costumes, the grotesqueness of the orcs, the way the camera flew through towers and canyons. Incredible, breathtaking. The interaction between the four hobbit actors is wonderful. Elijah Wood and Sean Astin have such splendid chemistry together, it's not funny. And Gandalf's death scene - I hadn't cried at movie in such a long time, until then.
